7 Aspects Which Define the Abundance Mindset

Your mindset can greatly determine the course of life and how you live every day. You get choose the road you want to go by choosing scarcity or abundance.

At the same time, the mindset can impact the way you learn, handle stress and even your health.

They say “The secret to having it all is believing you already do.”

So why not stop focusing on scarcity and start developing an abundance mindset?

By choosing to live on the path of abundance, you will experience a different life, full of freedom, happiness, peace and wisdom.

Take full advantage of this and keep in mind the following seven aspects to grow a mindset of abundance.

1. Controlling Your Thoughts

Your thoughts can be your best friend or they can be your enemy. You can make the conscious decision to steer your thoughts towards the abundance mindset.

If you’re afraid the project you’re working on will fail, then you need to reanalyze the thoughts you’re having about the project and shift your mind to achieving success.

2. Thinking Big

Those who think big, make it big. Why would the opposite not be valid, as well?

By thinking small, you will only be limiting yourself, your capabilities, skills, confidence and overall desire to live the life you deserve.

Just look at the CEOs of big companies and world leaders – they didn’t make it there by thinking they’re not capable. They have achieved success by having an abundance mindset and by thinking nothing is impossible.

3. Exploring Multiple Possibilities

Sometimes you can get stuck on one particular thing, when in fact, there are multiple other better possibilities you could choose from.

Whether it’s a decision you need to make or a strategy you need to implement, you can easily fall into the trap of thinking there’s just one way.

To avoid this, I recommend meditating for a few minutes each day so you can clear your mind and allow for other possibilities to be explored, as well.

4. Choosing Who You Spent Time with

Think about the people you spend your time with and analyze what their mindset is like. Are they focused on scarcity or abundance?

Just like laughter or yawning, mindsets are contagious. Stop spending time with people who focus on what they lack or have a negative mindset because their view of the world will affect you as well.

5. Being Grateful

Learning to acknowledge and appreciate all the positive things you have in your life. An abundant life revolves around a grateful heart.

By expressing gratitude even about the smallest things, you will learn how to get up and continue to fight for what you want even when life knocks you down.

6. Embracing Change

People who have an abundance mindset understand that change is a part of life, they embrace it and accept it.

Changes are natural and oftentimes they can lead to positive outcomes. Fighting or complaining about change will only delay or even block attracting abundance into your life.

7. Being Proactive

By being proactive, you will take control on your life and you will be the one who chooses which direction to move towards to.

Strategically planning for the future and thinking long-term will attract abundance into your life because your focus will be growth and moving forward.

How to Achieve a Flow of Abundance in Your Life This Year

Abundance is something we all strive for, whether it’s in the form of wealth in the monetary sense or simply becoming richer through developing meaningful relationships and creating a stronger connection with ourselves.

Unlocking the flow of abundance is key to manifesting our desires, yet many people have trouble doing so.

The problem is that this is stopping them from living a rich, meaningful life. If you find yourself in this situation, then you may want to consider changing the way you relate to abundance.

In this post, I want to give you some helpful pointers you can use to welcome the flow of abundance in your life this year.

Be Patient

Achieving abundance won’t happen overnight. It’s a process which can be compared to planting a seed.

The seed needs water, nutrient-rich soil, sunshine and time to blossom into a beautiful flower. Don’t try to rush the process or abandon it midway because you will need to restart it.

Take Action

Manifesting your desires can’t bring you any results if you don’t take any action towards achieving the abundance you strongly desire.

So set the wheels in motion by setting realistic goals and holding yourself accountable for them.

For example, if you want to achieve the flow of abundance in the monetary sense, then one of your goals may be to improve certain skills which could ultimately help you land a better job.

Taking action, in this case, means enrolling in a course or training which can help you reach this goal.

Change Your Mindset

The reason why so many people lack abundance in their life is because they focus on the exact opposite, which is what they don’t have. And by doing so, they’re actually calling into their life more of what they lack than more of what they desire.

The Universe will serve you whatever you ask for, but your mind has to be in that direction, as well.

If you don’t actually believe in what you desire, then you won’t be able to attract the flow of abundance into your life.

Try to visualize what you’ll be feeling when your life will be filled with the abundance you so strongly wish for.

Be Aligned

I mentioned goals earlier and that it’s important to set them and act upon them. But we know how life can get in the way and it’s easy to find excuses when we didn’t make any progress towards achieving our goals.

That’s why being aligned is essential if you want to let abundance in your life.

It will help you realize if you’ve made any progress when it comes to reaching your goals. You can set weekly milestones and then you can check in each week to see if you hit any roadblocks or perhaps of something changed and your overall goal has changed.

Be Grateful

Too often people take what they have for granted. But just as easy as they obtained it, what they have can disappear in an instant, whether it’s a relationship or material assets.

Whether it’s being grateful because it’s a sunny day or because you have a pantry full of food, it’s important to exercise gratitude.

Soon, you will realize just how much abundance you truly have in your life and it will help you stop focusing on what you lack.

Common Emotions You May Feel During the Ascension Process

The ascension process refers to expanding our awareness, increasing our vibrational energy and ultimately reach our higher self.

Ascension is defined by awakening the heart and the spirit, unlocking the inner wisdom and expanding the consciousness.

There are a lot of people who are ascending right now, which means their reality is going to change. This is going to happen to you as well when you go through this process.

Everyone ascends at a different pace, but there are definitely some common emotions everyone will be going through.

In this post, I want to describe some of them so you’ll be prepared when the time comes. You should also keep in mind they are just phases and you need to release the emotions to make room for your higher self.

Anger

Anger can be an uncomfortable emotion to those of you who have not experienced it that often prior to the ascension process.

It may also be hard to accept it as part of your ascension because it’s usually something we want to fight back and not let ourselves express it.

During ascension, it’s recommended not to suppress your anger anymore.

You can do so by dancing, pounding a pillow, walking it off or channelling this energy towards something positive.

To make room for your higher self means you first need to accept your human self and releasing your anger is one way to do it.

Anxiety

Experiencing these negative emotions, such as anger and anxiety, is like a portal to your authentic self.

Anxiety does not represent a barrier to your rising. On the contrary – it’s what you need to go through in order to reach ascension.

The anxiety you’ll be feeling in the ascension process is not related to the outside world – finances, world, relationships, health and such. Instead, it has to do with you moving into enlightenment.

Worrying if you’re truly ready for ascension might leave you feeling anxious, but you have to just let go and trust the process because it will lead you exactly where you need to be.

Joy

Yes, it is actually possible to experience negative and positive emotions all at the same time. Often times, you’ll go from feeling angry to feeling extremely joyful.

This just means you have become more sensitive to the energy around you as you may start feeling what people around you do.

You may experience joy in unexpected moments and without any apparent reason and it’s good you do. It’s all part of the process.

Some days may be filled with joy and others with anger and anxiety.

All is happening for a reason and you need to remind yourself it’s important to be present and let yourself experience them.

How to Feel Strong Again and Build Confidence

We want many things in life, but I think fewer are more desirable than the need to build confidence. Especially after experiencing trauma, failure or countless torments.

What are mantras, after all?

I won’t give you an ‘accepted’ definition. I’ll just tell you they are powerful means you can control your brain through.

It’s because you may not be aware of how powerful self-talk acts upon the brain.

Let’s take a scenario: you’ve recently experienced a life crisis and you desperately want to get out of that place, regain strength and build confidence to start over. And still, you keep circling around, seemingly in the same place of negativity and bad luck, pointing out to every problem which has led to the current situation.

So naturally, your brain will only see and process the downsides. The valuable things you own or have done so far are pushed to the side because your mind is too busy with its complacency in the dark pool of despair.

The solution is the mantra of positivity. Start small: first thing after waking up should be repeating 5 wonderful things you’re grateful about. Then you can increase the number and see how you’ll start noticing the overwhelming beauty you forgot to explore.

But there’s a golden rule here: don’t ever skip a day. Not one. Stick to the bright side.

Forget About Condemning Others

This is a vital skill for confidence and strength building.

In order to get out of the vicious circle of a negative and weak mind, you need to learn (or re-learn) how you deal with blame.

Throwing the blame on someone else or on adverse circumstances will only get you so far.

Of course, external factors are always involved, but the less you dwell on analysing them, the more time you have to focus on your contribution to your situation. As small as it is, you’ll learn precious lessons about how you reacted in unfavourable situations and how you could do it better the next time.

Get Yourself Busy with Building Deeper Relationships

It takes a village to raise a child, they say.

But it also takes a village to build confidence after you’ve been tested by life.

What I mean by that is you need to surround yourself with your own ‘village’ of wonderful people.

Mind you, it doesn’t mean that, all of a sudden, you should start being friends with dozens of people. It means you should start building stronger ties with positive, interesting, radiant people who’ll help you get fresh perspectives on every aspect of life.

To Build Confidence Is to Accept the Challenge of the Universe

And also be at peace with it.

You can’t go ad infinitum on blaming the Universe for your misfortunes. At a certain point, you have to take the bull by the horns and stand for yourself.

Because this is your only option.

Because the strength you think you possess is far weaker than the one you actually have within.

Find Your True Self by Asking These Questions

We each are a journey. Exciting and fluctuating, hard and yet rewarding.

To find your true self, you need to embrace the fact this journey might not always go as planned.

Acknowledging this reality is already a giant step towards better understanding where you stand. But how do you get to a point of wisdom, stability and assuredness?

It’s about a constant work upon and with the deepest layers of the self.

This work requires commitment and honest communication with yourself and I’m here to suggest an effective way of self-talk: asking the right questions in order to prepare yourself for whatever hardship thrown at you.

1. “What Do I Consider Happiness?”

It seems like a question too general to be practical. But it’s the best point to start with because it has the power of shaping your expectations the best way.

So, as soon as you delve into your definition of happiness, you may find a seemingly simple evidence: happiness is what we make it. If you demand too much from life in order to consider yourself happy, then it’s time to take a step back and reassess (or define) the happiness threshold.

You’ll see how you’ll begin to lower your expectations, be less obsessed with ‘being happy’ and more interested in being more truthful to yourself.

2. “What Would I Do if I Knew No One Was Judging My Actions?”

When you want to find your true self, you actually need to find those pain points holding you back from achieving self-awareness. And cultivating a false narrative about the self is one of those pain points.

If you ask yourself the question above, you’ll discover surprising facts about the actions you’d take if it weren’t for the fear of being judged.

Once you confront these facts, you’ll start to deconstruct the facade and reach a truer self.

3. “What Would I Do if I Won the Lottery?”

Would you spend, invest or keep the money?

Your choice will reveal your instinct: conservative or impulsive?

This is something you have to establish very clearly when you want to reach the core of your personality traits because it helps you deal with on-the-spot decisions way faster and more effectively.

4. “Who Do I Seek in the Hardest Times?”

If the answer to this question turns into a long list of friends, close family, acquaintances and spiritual gurus or role models, it means you still have quite a long way to go to reach your true self.

Because you still need to find a way of relying on yourself – this will ultimately make you more independent and skilled in dealing with your problems.

To Find Your True Self, Prepare to Face the Truth

All the questions above (and many others you can define yourself) are useful tools in starting a new era in the way you see your true being.

When you enter this era, you discover you’re an entity of life, a star seed and a powerful energy which has been perfectly designed to forge its own beautiful way in the Universe.

14 Signs Which Clearly Show You Need Meditation in Your Life

You’re doing your best to be a positive, productive and competent person.

You invest time in analysing what’s the proper course of action and how you could be your best self.

And still, things don’t seem to work out for you. 

This is just one major sign you need meditation.

You don’t have to be at your wit’s end in order to consider healthy practices like meditation. But you sure could do with more clarity in your life.

This article is dedicated to those who need to find out whether they need meditation or not. If you’re among them, if you’re still on the fence, I hope you’ll read the following lines and get a better idea of where you stand.

Meditation – a Brief Account

I decided to write an introductory part about meditation because an overwhelming number of people come to me with the wrong ideas and assumptions on what it is.

 

First, meditation is a state of mind. Of awareness or mindfulness, to be more specific.

Secondly, meditation does not equal concentration, breathing exercises or mental effort. It does imply these (or variations of techniques on them), but it is not reduced to just that.

Indeed, being in a meditative state requires, at first, that you learn how to focus on individual aspects. But you can’t say you learned how to meditate just because you learned to sit still in a quiet and focus-inducing environment.

Meditation requires that you take a step further and make the meditative state a constant asset of your mind, no matter the situation you’re in.

14 Signs You Need Meditation – Now

Given that I clarified the above, it’s time I start building the list of tell-tale indicators you should give meditation a serious thought (especially if you tick more than half the boxes):

  1. You struggle with taking simple decisions.
  2. Feeling overwhelmed is a constant state you’re in.
  3. You always seem to be struggling with your workload.
  4. Exhaustion is your constant physical status.
  5. Your immunity system is always losing the battle.
  6. Even the slightest setback has you in tears or distress.
  7. Unexplainable mood swings.
  8. You notice lingering thoughts about the meaning of life.
  9. There’s a constant voice in your head saying “You need a change”.
  10. Staying focused is something you have trouble with.
  11. You find yourself feeling anxious for no particular reason.
  12. You’re constantly dissatisfied even though you have an above-average lifestyle.
  13. High blood pressure or palpitations occurring frequently and all of a sudden.
  14. You keep repeating the same mistakes.

I know how it is – detecting these signs and labelling them as minor issues. But as minor as they seem, they’re indicators of blocked energy paths. The more you have, the more they’ll pile up into a handful of negative energy.

If you don’t want that in your life, it’s high time you acknowledge you need meditation to monitor yourself and eventually take control of your life.

How Your Brain Changes when You Choose to Meditate

When I wrote the phrase ‘choose to meditate’ in the title, I meant every word of it since I am well aware of the amount of effort which is necessary in order to take on this practice and really carry it through.

After all, meditation is a powerful practice which goes beyond about ethereal and abstract concepts. It’s also about tangible, transformative effects upon our organisms. And the most radical ones can be seen in the brain activity and in the way it perceives reality after meditation sessions.

My broad experience with guided meditation has taught me a few aspects related to this matter, so here I am, passing them on to you, beautiful souls.

New Neural Pathways

New neural pathways are the networks our brains create once we acquire new habits.

If the whole life you’ve been employing the same way of forming thoughts and habits, you will be naturally experiencing a radical change once you choose to meditate.

Meditation practices engage new parts of the brain, forcing them to communicate in different ways.

Neurotransmitters increase their chemical activity, while the brain actually adjusts by generating more folds in order to accommodate the increased neural activity.

Amygdala Shrinkage

The brain has a dedicated part – the amygdala – which deals with processing fear and emotions.

While meditating, you are actually effecting changes within this area because you are consciously involving it in a process of stress reduction. 

As a consequence, your body’s natural shield against stress levels is strengthened and the amygdala undergoes a shrinking process.

Increased Activity in the Brain Areas Controlling Sensitivity

Since the whole cortex is changing, it follows that areas responsible for decoding the 5 senses will also present significant changes.

Feeling and hearing are the senses where you’ll detect the most improvements.

It’s because when you choose to meditate, you choose to shut yourself off from every surrounding and engage only some of the brain functions and senses. By focusing on one at a time, you begin to feel more intensely.

Plus, it also counts you break the incessant data processing your brain is performing all the time. This way, you allow the senses to ‘rest’ and register new signals which wouldn’t otherwise be processed while the brain is busy with prioritizing all the outside noise.

Incredible Change in Dopamine Levels

You must have heard about dopamine, the so-called ‘reward chemical’ released as a response to pleasurable stimuli.

The problem with it is we can’t perceive it once it reaches a threshold.

Choose to meditate and you’ll slowly focus on other things than a chase for reward. So when you’re not feeding your brain with pleasure and comfort all the time, you actually lower the threshold of dopamine perceptivity and allow for the natural dopamine production in the brain to increase and be processed accordingly.

Will You Choose to Meditate and Completely Renew Your Brain and Your Life?

A more powerful brain means an enriched life.

New sensations, new perceptiveness, new orientation skills, a new understanding of life.
